Pageant

For the last 6 years our friends the Jacksons have invited us out to their lake house for Christmas night. This is the best tradition for many reasons.
1. We get to hang out with the Jacksons. My kids love this because it means they get to do whatever they want.
2. I don't have to cook Christmas dinner. Julie makes her yummy taco soup and the rest of us bring lots of good snacks to go with it.
3. The kids get to act out the best version of a Christmas pageant. Every year Julies costumes get better and better.
This year Cliff's family was with us and got to join in the pageant too.

Maggie and Cate very excited about the pageant.

Sophie, Melanee, and me freezing while we wait for the pageant to start.

This is the first year Sophie wasn't in the pageant. She was always Mary. I guess all good things have to come to an end.

Adam saying "What, you have never been to the Jacksons! It's the best place ever."

All the kids had at least one part in the pageant.
Adam the wise man.

Carson and an angel then later he was a Shepard

Logan the Shepard.

Cate the star. This is my favorite costume.

Simon the Shepard. He was taking this very serious.

Maggie, a very pretty wise man.

The angel in action.

Enter the star.

I think Carson was saying to himself, " What is that thing on your head?"

I'm not sure where the third wise man was.

We love you Julie. Thanks for making the best tradition of our Christmas.

  1. The Jackson's Christmas pageant really is the greatest! I love all of those pictures---shepherds, angels, star----a real Christmas highlight. So glad you posted it.
