Sophies Birthday Party

So whats a birthday without a party. Well, pretty much my life. Thankfully it's not Sophie's yet. After we got back from the temple we had a quick family party to open her presents then the big party began. We had a little trouble coming up with something to do that was not little kid and still cool. Below is a run through of what we did.
She had to get a one piece swimsuit for girls camp. Daniel went and bought this all by himself and she liked it. Way to go Dan.
She got this wheel for Mario Kart and a new Wii game. I really got the wheel thinking it would make it easier for me to play. No such luck, I still stink.

On to the real party. She had 10 girls come over for some outdoor fun. There is nothing like Silly String to really get a party going.

Then they ate lots of food. Carson posed for this picture because he thought it would be really cute. Do you like the new Axis shirts? I'm not a big fan.
The gifts were a big hit. Sophie did a really good job making everyone think she loved their gift. The key word is "think".
None of my kids have ever liked cake so we went for the big cookie. Thank you Wal-Mart.

You might think they were done eating but you would be wrong. We roasted marshmallows.

Last we ended with an outdoor viewing of Twilight. It was perfect weather for this and the girls were very excited to see it. The girl with the white headband had just gotten her tonsils out 2 days before and still came to see the movie. Her mom said she refused to stay home even thought she still couldn't really talk.

  1. Looks like great fun! First of all, great party. I love food and games, and twilight. Also, Kudos to sophie for mastering the art of a little white lie to protect the feelings of others. Im proud!
