I can't believe how beautiful the drive was to the reunion. Every time I looked out the window I was amazed at the mountains and trees. My kids were so sick of me saying that they should look out the windows at all the beauty. I am turning into my mother. Any time we went on a trip all she would talk about is how beautiful all the plants and flowers were. Now I know what she meant.
While we were driving there was a sign for a scenic look out. Of course I wanted to stop. There ended up being a 1/2 mile trail. I am so lucky.
Logan loved all the pine cones. We don't have many of those in Texas.
Some of the smaller legs needed a ride.
The kids thought all the moss was really cool. It was like an out door carpet.
This picture was to show the waterfall in the back. It looked much better in real life.
And we are off again. I promise we are almost to the reunion.
