RV Living

It was finally time to pick up the RV and start our way to the reunion. The drive was going to be about 6 hours but we decided to take the scenic route so it was going to take a little longer. We talked Cliff and Melanee to come along in their van so we could all stop and camp half way their. Well, we got started a little late and by the time we got to the camp site it was 10 pm and totally dark. We had no idea where we were camping and it was cold so both families slept in the camper. Surprisingly it wasn't too bad, just a little cold because we forgot to turn on the heat.

This is what we woke up to the next morning. There was a stream right behind us and mountains all around. It was so beautiful.

There was even a place to dump the poop. Yea!

The kids had a wonderful breakfast after we made Sophie and Adams bed back into the table.

Good morning Sophie.

The boys and Maggie slept above the drivers seat in a very large bed. Can you tell where we stopped for dinner the night before?

Don't you love morning people.

Daniel took all the kids to the park so the girls to get ready for another day of driving.

Sophie entertained everyone by teaching them some table rhythm she learned at girls camp.

Sophie and Betsy gazing out the back window at the water. They did this for quite some time.

It's kind of hard to see the mountains behind. They were so beautiful and covered with trees. I couldn't believe how green everything was.

All the cousins. Not the best picture but it was all I could do to get this one.

Before we left Carson and Logan saw this little cabin and wanted a picture by it. I made Daniel stop the RV so we could jump out and take the picture. You know I can never pass on an opportunity to take a picture.

  2. Very cute pictures and very cute kids. I think it would be really fun to rent an RV and do a road trip.
