Every time I take the boys to the grocery store they ask if they can get a coconut. I finally broke down and said fine. Monday night after and exciting FHE we went out to crack the coconut. Logan was so excited he yelled, yea we get to crap the coconut. I'm sure you can imagine what fun we had with that little mistake.

Bye, bye little coconut.

This is how we do it in Texas, power tools.

You can see how excited Sophie was about the whole thing. Carson did enjoy the "milk", sort of .

Time to crack. It was like a Hawaiian pinatas. Notice Dan's toes. He doesn't really trust Adam with a hammer.

I love Logans frog position.

Sophie finished it off for us.

This is an accident waiting to happen.

Let me have a taste of that mom.

It was a little hard to chew....

So Carson found another use. I was so proud.
It was fun I just looked that way in that picture.
ReplyDeletehahaha Tell Carson we have a grass skirt he can borrow! :)
ReplyDeleteA very memorable family home evening! Looks like fun. Excellent pictures of the entire event, too.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely weren't paying attention when we visited the Samoan village at PCC, but that's ok. Texas style seemed to work just fine. Nice bra Carson.
ReplyDeleteLast week I was in the produce section of the grocery store and I heard two little boys begging their mom to let them buy a coconut. She absolutely refused. I really wanted to turn around and say, "Aw come on, let them buy the dang coconut. It only costs a couple of bucks and it'll keep them busy for hours cause those babies are hard to crack!" You are a good mom.
