The Boat

My summer posts wouldn't be complete without one about the boat. Just about every Saturday we go to the lake. I never seem very excited to go but once I am there I am happy we came. There is no phone, TV, video games, or computer, just the family and friends.

The kids all love the tube. We don't usually squeeze this many on but we thought it would make a good picture. It's all about the pictures.

Adam is the tube king. His arms may look small but they are all muscle. He and always hold on the longest.

They have also gotten really good on the knee board. They each have there one trick they like to show off. Logans is this backward move where he lays down. He can also do a good 360.

Adam usually just goes in and out of the wake but this time he was trying for a 360 and forgot to let go with one hand. Oops.


Carson actually does the most on the knee board but his favorite trick and most impressive is when he stands up. What balance.

Sophie is a lot like me. She will get out and do things with a lot of encouragement but once she is done she is done. Here she is showing off her twisting abilities.

Dan decided to try a new trick with the kids this summer, double wake boarding. I was not too sure about this but the boys loved it, especially Carson.

One of the other activities while on the lake is jumping off this rock. I don't know if you can tell how tall it is but it's pretty high. This is Carson going off first. He always jumps the most.

I love Adams face in this one. I think he might be saying a quick prayer.

This is the whole reason we really go to the lake. Daniel patiently waits for all the kids to do there thing so he can finally do this. Imagine what he could do if we had a fancy boat.

I thought I would throw this one in to show you that I am really on the boat. What is that lovely suit I have on? Well, it's a great invention for the lake. Zip up you life jacket and wear it like a diaper. It makes a great chair you can just float around in and oh so comfortable.
