At the end of the 4Th grade year the kids get to have egg babies for 3 days. They have to decorate the egg, make a birth certificate, and a home to bring them to school in.

When Sophie was in 4Th grade she took her egg to school in this little chick bag. It was perfect because she didn't have to carry it in her hands and she could velcro it in the bag. We told Adam he should use the same thing and he thought that would be great.

When he got to school I guess the other kids didn't think it was as great as we did. They all said nice purse Adam. OK, they were right it was a purse so for day 2 we switched homes.

This is the new home. His egg now has a bedroom, playroom, and storage area for his toys. You aren't allowed to put the lid on it so I can't wait to see if the egg makes it home in one piece.
man purses are all the rage these days. dont these kids know anything?
ReplyDeleteAt least an egg is small. Claire had to do a flour sack baby that weighed 5 lbs! She carried it around for 2 weeks. I was really sick of that thing.
ReplyDeleteI hope that Abraham Greg Phipps is hard boiled. Do you call him Abe for short?
