Midway

Sometimes we take pity on Daniel and let him do one thing he would enjoy while we are on vacation. This time he chose to go tour Midway. It's a WWII aircraft carrier, I think. So we drove downtown San Diego and decided to take the tour. We all got out headsets and off we went. We thought this was kind of fun at first but that didn't last long. We decided it was better to just walk a little faster and skip the very informative tour.

When we were finally done we went to get a pizza. We were all pretty hungry so we decided to get the extra large. Holy Cow! That thing was huge. We took the leftovers with us and the kids ate it all day.

Then we were off to Coronado Island for some fun at the beach. This time we were prepared for the cold water. Daniel packed wetsuits for all the kids. It was great.

The kids had a great time jumping off this sand dune. Its kind of hard to tell in this picture but it actually was a hill.
